With the first game ever in the franchise being released over 26 years, from Sony and the makers of Elden Ring, FromSoftware, Armored Core is a long-running series of video games. There are many people who have grown up playing the Armored Core series.
While the fifth instalment in the game series came out over a decade ago, it is now ready to make a comeback with Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon coming this year.

Armored Core VI Release Date
The last game in the series, Armored Core: Verdict Day, was released over 10 years ago in 2012. The game was launched for consoles which were PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Contrary to its predecessor, the upcoming instalment will be available for nearly every platform including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam worldwide. The game will be made available to players on August 25th, 2023 according to the official description in the game’s official gameplay trailer on YouTube. It is also open for pre-orders right now.
Armored Core VI Gameplay Trailer
Bandai Namco, the official partner of the series, premiered a 13-minute-long gameplay trailer two days ago on July 25th, 2023 showcasing the mechanics as well as the overall look and feel of the game to the watchers. The trailer had over a million views in 5 hours and sits on 2.2 million views as of now, revealing the hype around the game.
When we have a look at the comment section of the released gameplay trailer, it is easy to observe how fans are overly excited as they wished for a return of their 26-year-long game series to return. The reactions included how glad they were that the series is finally making a return after a decade, as well as an appreciation for the studios developing the game.

Signature to FromSoftware’s carefully crafted game design, the game will feature challenging and memorable battles along with a fulfilling progression system and deep gameplay, all of it now powered by assembling mechs and going into combat with massive bosses. Players will recognize the sense of satisfaction and achievement when they overcome a difficult situation and relish momentary victory, and perhaps a boost to their standing, before encountering the next challenge.”
This is essentially something which is game-changing as the text describes how the game will give the players the ability to free roam as well as battle challenging and memorable bosses which gives you a momentary satisfaction when you finally overcome that particular boss before moving onto the other.
