Not many critics were amused by him replacing Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men. But they are in for an even bigger shock. Ashton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs in an upcoming movie by director Joshua Micheal Stern. The independent movie, titled “Jobs” will be based on the life of the deceased Apple co-founder.
The film is set to steal the thunder from Sony Picture’s much hyped biopic based on Steve Jobs’ official biography by Walter Isaacson. That will make it three films that details Steve Jobs’ life following 1999’s Pirates of Silicon Valley, starring Noah Wyle.
Ashton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs in this film and it is yet to be known what type of character he will portray. Kutcher has made a name as a comedian and Hollywood joker. Other than his Two and a Half Men gig on CBS, he was famous for his celebrity pranks on MTV’s Punk’d. Other acclaimed movies that he appeared in include “Spread” and the recent screen hit “No Strings Attached”.
