After all the hype surrounding Brit Rhythm for men, Burberry Brit Rhythm Fragrance for Women is due to appear in January. The campaign starts on the 21st featuring a smoky-eyed Suki Waterhouse wearing the latest Burberry leather jackets.
The perfume was developed at the House of Givaudan. A keynote of the fragrance is English lavender from Kent, made famous by the Yardley brand. Other floral notes are orange blossom, iris, and a patented ingredient called Petalia, referencing the scent of peonies.
There is a hint of pink pepper spice and blackberry leaves, with vetiver, musk and vibrant woody notes. It comes as a soft pink liquid within a square textured bottle similar to the men’s version. Women get three sizes of eau de toilette, body wash and lotion, deodorant and hair mist.
Burberry’s Christopher Bailey is a big music fan and wanted the new fragrance to convey the adrenaline rush and sexual excitement of fans at a rock gig.
