Chicken Noodle Soup



3 carrots
½ stick celery
5-6 chicken pieces
2 x 45 g packets chicken noodle soup mix
1 cup egg noodles


Boil chicken in enough water to fully cover the chicken.
Add the packets of soup and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove the chicken and let broth sit.
When cool, skim off the fat.
Add finely cut carrots and celery.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
Add egg noodles and simmer for a further 10 minutes.
Chicken meat can be added to give extra flavour.

Recipe notes

If the soup thickens too much just add some extra water.
