Emma Watson Looks Stunning in the Net-A-Porter’s Latest Edit Issue

Emma Watson has truly shrugged off her Hermione Granger look and is the latest celebrity to be featured on the popular online magazine of Net-a Porter.com called The Edit. She also talks about the Green Carpet Challenge. The Green Carpet challenge is the initiative by Livia Firth to support ethical and beautiful fashion. The 23 year old actress posed decked in five gorgeous gowns designed by Victoria Beckham, Burberry Prorsum, Christopher Kane, Roland Mouret and Erdem. The British actress looks gorgeous in these chic outfits that were a part of the Eco friendly collection.

Emma Watson for Net-a-Porter The Edit Issue also discusses about her passion for sustainable clothing. She revealed that she loved ethically sourced dresses but there are not enough options that allow her do it in a realistic way. The Harry Potter actress is not new to sustainable fashion as she discusses her experience she had visited a factory in Bangladesh as a part of a People Tree campaign and had witnessed the fair trade’s effect on people. She said that she could not wrap her head around about why ethical clothes are special while not a base standard. She also said that it was special to wear something that she knew was not made by a 12 year old girl for mere 20 pence per hour under bad working conditions.

Watson also expressed her joy about working in the GCC project as she felt it was very exciting for her, as nobody has ever done anything like this. For her, the project was something that she had to do and was waiting for. She also added that Livia has a lobbying body that pressurized the governments and corporations to have some kind of ethical responsibility, which is an awesome thing to do. Emma also discusses about her transition from her child stage to a leading actress.
