Presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) every year, Emmy Awards are a major event in the film industry, not only do they recognise excellence, but act as a prestige of honour for the winners. Though, Emmys 2023 nominations have bought with itself upset many fans. While it does try to pick out not widely recognised gems of a movie, it loses very well-deserved nominations of actors, which in turn leaves the public disappointed.
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 18, 2023, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will be aired in the United States on Fox.

Elizabeth Olsen, widely recognised for her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Wanda Maximoff recently starred in the crime drama miniseries Love and Death, which came out in April 2023. Written by David E. Kelley, the miniseries stars Olsen as Candy Montgomery, a housewife who has an affair with a neighbour, played by Jesse Plemons which then leads to the murder of the neighbour’s wife, played by Lily Rabe.
The series gathered appreciation from major critics and managed to score a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Kelly’s writing and Olsen’s performance in the series mustered a lot of praise from the audience, and it was expected to get at least a single nomination for the Emmys 2023 which, unfortunately, did not end up happening and left fans enraged.
