NARS Summer 2014 Lip Glosses have been produced with a new formulation, new packaging and seven new shades. The silky texture is described as being more pleasant to wear, and the new doe-foot applicator allows the gloss to be applied more precisely, resulting in longer-lasting color.
The seven new shades consist of five pinks:
Salamanca – a flamingo pink
Quito – a bright strawberry pink
Priscilla – a shocking pink shade
Istria – a pink glacé
Tasmania- described as pink cantaloupe
The other two newcomers are:
Sixties Fan – described as Pomegranate
Eternal Red a bright orange-red
The remaining twenty-three shades are already firm favorites with fans of the brand. They include further pink tones, such as sherbet pink Turkish Delight and dusty rose pink Dolce Vita, along with raspberry and cherry shades such as Risky Business and Scandal. Wonder is described as ‘sheer mandarin orange,’ and includes pink and gold shimmer, while several other shades include gold flecks for added sparkle.
The new formula includes rich ingredients to increase hydration of the lips, making them soft and supple. Anti-ageing sea lavender also smooths out fine lines and protects against future wear and tear. The shine that these luxurious lip glosses produces is both glamorous and natural-looking, perfect for everyday wear.
The Nars brand has come a long way since Françoise Nars launched his make-up brand in 1994. As he states: ‘There is so much more freedom in beauty today. NARS is about finding your own look that suits you best.’ The redesigned packaging is in the form of clear tubes which enable the actual color to be displayed in the store and make choosing the right shade for you much easier.
The NARS Summer 2014 Lip Glosses will retail at $26 and be available from April 15th at NARS boutiques and online, while major stores will stock the new range from the beginning of May.
