The company H&M which stands for Hennes & Mauritz was established in Sweden in the year 1947 with an aim of offering fashion and quality affordable attires. However, the company has diversified in other activities that include Cheap Monday, brands, COS, Monki and weekday and the H&M home. It has created an employment of up to 116,000 people with 3,300 stores in 54 markets around the world.
It is surprising that a duo comprising of lady Gaga, Tony Bennett are the stars of H&M’s holiday campaigns. This has earned them an appearance in TV commercial debuts globally, in print, online and outdoor ads too commencing November.
This emerged when a Swedish retailer company – H&M Company ceased to use names of renowned celebrities such as Tony Ward, Isabella Rosselini, Beyoncé, Gary Oldman, Tyra Banks, Lauren Hutton, Bryan Ferry, Jade Jagger, Johny Depp, Lana del Rey, Mads Mikkelsen and Dave Gahan in its campaigns.
It is apparent that Lady Gaga made a technical appearance at the launch of H&M’s Times Square flagship held in New York in the year 2013. She will therefore feature in this year’s commercial feature her and Tony Bennett’s collaborative album entitled “cheek to cheek” which will be officially released on September 23. Both Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will be dressed in H&M’s attires.
The duo; Tony Bennett and lady Gaga will feature in H&M’s holiday advertisements throughout the year 2014. It is imperative that Lady Gaga has been on her feet trying her best to bridge between music and fashion in her undertakings. It is also outright that H&M are privileged to have her as their representative since many of her fans turn up to shop and meet with this idol.
On the other hand, Tony Bennett is renowned for his extemporary performance. He has seven years of experience, has won the Grammy award seventeen times, and is a great master of NEA Jazz and Kennedy Center Honoree.
