Marston Hefner, the son of Playboy founder and billionaire Hugh Hefner, has been ordered by a judge to attend classes for domestic violence. Charges were filed against Marston after he and his girlfriend, Claire Sinclair, had a fight at their apartment in Pasadena, California on 12 February. Marston was charged with allegations of corporal injury against Ms. Sinclair after reportedly beating her. The playmate developed bruises all over her body and her laptop was damaged during the incident. Upon showing up at court, he pleaded no contest and accepted the sentence passed on from the judge.
In all, Hugh Hefner’s son will have to spend 52 weeks at domestic violence classes and will legally be required to stay away from Ms. Sinclair for the next three years.
Sinclair, aged 20, was named as Playmate of the Year by the prestigious magazine in 2011. She has no desire to get back with Marston after this.
