Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have officially separated after four years of marriage because Lamar has been abusing drugs. It is a shock to fans to hear that Lamar has been using hard drugs after his father was documented to have used heroin on the Kardashian reality show in 2011. After a childhood seeing his father getting high, Lamar is going down a similar path.
Despite Lamar’s family history of using hard drugs, it is shocking that Lamar is now taking them. He was especially against any hard drugs due to his childhood experiences, but has now followed the same path. Lamar revealed that his father, Joe Odom is a heroin addict and was not there during his childhood. His own mother died when he was only 12 years old and his father used heroin to get by. Lamar admits to seeing things that he never should have seen at such a young age. Most of the time, Lamar was brought up by his Grandmother because his father couldn’t cope.
Later on, the 33 year old was brought up by Jerry DeGregorio, the Rhode Island college team coach. However, his father’s misuse of drugs played heavily on his mind as he was suspended for breaking the NBA’s anti-drug policy, the second time in eight months. This is a bad road for Lamar and he has lost his wife as a result.
Khloe Kardashian has tried to save her husband Lamar, after four years of drug misuse. Last week, Khloe and her family had to intervene and Lamar left the marital home. On Wednesday he was photographed loading a large amount of suitcases in his car in Calabasas, California. Sources say that Khloe has not given up on her husband, but won’t go back with him until he is clean. She feels very hurt that he won’t seek help for his demons.
