Son Goku, often considered the epitome of power in the anime world, is often compared to characters from other anime universes in humor. It is occasionally joked about if a certain powerful character can beat Goku in a battle, and anybody who likes to think otherwise gets made fun of.
Something similar is what happened when an image depicting how Luffy in gear 5 might be able to beat Goku was shared with a sarcastic caption “๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐จ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ช๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ ๐ช ๐๐๐ช๐จ๐ ๐๐’๐จ ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฎ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ” in a Dragon Ball Fan group on Facebook.

Fan Reaction In The Comments
Shortly following the post, the admin who originally posted took the effort to reply in the comments, justifying what was said in the post. They put forward an argument saying how when Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan 3 transformation, it caused earthquakes around the whole world, and the power was even felt in the gods’ realm. This was continued with the admin saying how One Piece characters straight up cannot compete with Saiyans.
The post right now has just over a thousand comments, with the majority being in agreement with the admin who posted.

Why Goku Is Established As The Strongest Character
The main protagonist of Dragon Ball and born of Saiyan blood, Goku is often considered the most powerful there is out there to ever exist, and this can be due to a number of factors, including personal preferences as well as how the audience likes to perceive things.
It can also be said that the series, being nearly 35 years old, introduced the power system in its own unique way which was something different for that time. Goku is also a powerful being in his own right, he has managed to master way more moves, techniques, abilities, and powers when compared to Luffy. He is also perceived to be a lot more durable and strong due to how his physique is made out to be.
Luffy Gear 5 – When Will it Come, Powers and Abilities Explained
For nearly a year now, fans have been waiting for Luffy’s Gear 5 to finally get animated, and that time is finally here, with only a week remaining, Luffy awakens his new transformation on August 6th, 2023.
Luffy is finally able to use this power in his battle against Kaido, one of the former sea emperors. After losing multiple face-offs with him, our hero is finally able to overwhelm his opponent using Gear 5 and sends him crashing to the ground.
This is made possible due to the paramecia fruit Gomu Gomu Ni which essentially grants Luffy an extremely rubbery body as well as the power to manipulate his environment to his liking and advantage. When in active transformation, Luffy also gives off a faint resemblance to the Legendary Sun God Nika.

Gear 5 also grants him some new techniques, such as Gomu Gomu no Dasshutsu Rocket, Gomu Gomu no Kaminari, and Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Gun, which was used to finally defeat Kaido.
Coming back to the Facebook post, one must understand that war between communities like these is a common occurrence and is something that happens quite often, essentially having no impact on anything at all in the end.
