Miranda Kerr Rocks H&M Spring 2014 Campaign

The choice of Miranda Kerr for H&M Spring 2014 Campaign was an inspired one. The Aussie model brings her own casual charm to the new high street collection which was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week. A video has Miranda coyly introducing herself as the new face of H&M and inviting us to stay tuned for more. Meanwhile, the brand has produced half a dozen or so shots of Miranda in a pared-down selection of its fashions.

There are two monochrome offerings: a black pencil mini-skirt with a loose grey T-shirt and black, very strappy, sandals tied with an ankle bow, and a white T-shirt with a black shrug atop medium-grey pants with light grey turnups and the same strappy sandals.

Pink is the only featured color in this selection. This is seen in an off-the-shoulder blouse with a ruffled neckline and full sleeves, worn with faux leather black shorts. Another pink ruffled blouse has a low V-neck and is worn with a tailored black blazer, sporting satin revers like a men’s DJ and worn with the same black shorts. Pink surfaces again in the form of a pleated mini-skirt, worn with a plain white V-neck blouse. Inspiring hopes of summer sunshine, Miranda also wears a colorful print mini-dress with an asymmetrical, off-one-shoulder neckline. As with all H&M fashions, the core collection has real mix ‘n match appeal, seamlessly blending flirty feminine prettiness with both sporty and tailored looks which adds up to a very individual brand of urban chic.

After fronting the Mango campaigns last year, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel appears relaxed and confident in the H&M streetwise style. According to the brand, their latest collection is based on “a real California-cool style, focusing on the beauty of spring in an urban setting”. The clothes from the Miranda Kerr for H&M Spring 2014 Campaign will be in their shops from March 12th.
