Once again it’s Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo Spring 2014 Campaign. This will be the Australian actress’s third season for the brand, and this time she has worked in collaboration with photographer Sølve Sundsbø to produce some daring semi-nude images that showcase her slim figure and pale ivory skin. ‘It felt a bit daring dangerous,’ she commented.
The daring shots consist of Nicole topless, her modesty saved by a yellow and black Charlize clutch. The rest of her is clad in a tight black semi-transparent skirt and high-heeled gladiator-style sandals, with knee-high cross-lacing. The poses are action packed; very dramatic and eye-catching. They show Nicole splayed, knees bent, against a colorful jungle-themed background of green foliage and blurry brown, orange and yellow, with her long strawberry blonde hair flowing upwards.
Another dynamic image shows her wearing a cream jacket with black revers, flying open to reveal most of her chest, and teamed with nude pants. The shoes are strappy Damsen sandals in bright orange, and she brandishes a version of the metallic python Anna bag.
A third shot has Nicole in relatively more modest attire: a nonetheless revealing black micro-dress with very low and open neck and split skirt. She is sporting blue bottle suede Tamber sandals and holds aloft a neon lime and watersnake version of the Anna bag. Referencing her own nudity, Nicole commented that the ‘shoes and bags became like a sensual second skin to me.’
Creative director Sandra Choi paid tribute to the award-winning actress’s ‘openness to embracing a new character’ for each Jimmy Choo modelling season. This time the theme of the Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo Spring 2014 Campaign is ‘Nature Unleashed’ and the Academy award-winning actress certainly pulls out all the stops to seduce.
Nicole will soon be seen portraying another style icon, Grace Kelly, in the movie Grace of Monaco which is being released in March.
