The first of Cold Play’s three scheduled concerts in LA was held at the Hollywood Bowl and attracted most of Los Angeles. Robert Downey Jr and his better half were in attendance. The couple, having recently had a baby, seemed to take their date seriously, walking in hand in hand bearing smiles.
Downey and his wife arrived were driven in and he was the perfect gentleman as he opened the door for Susan. The “Avengers” star then helped her out and the led her into the arena with his hand on her back. Robert Downey Jr he was casually dressed with a black jacket and matching hat. Susan had a more formal look of a white blazer and black blouse accompanied by a black scarf.
Cold Play should feel satisfied with the type of audience they had. Other celebrities in the crowd included Billy Crystal, Ashley Greene and the entire Cuba Gooding Jr family. The British band has its next performance at “American Idol” tomorrow night.
