Ratcheting up the excitement for her fans, we can now get a preview of the Roberto Cavalli for Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour Costume Sketches. The designer has come up with four pairs of minuscule hotpants, for maximum twerk effect, plus a couple of bodysuits.
The tour is set to kick off in Vancouver on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, in support of the star’s fourth studio album, Bangerz, and the wardrobe is as flamboyant as you would expect from Italian designer Cavalli.
There is a streetwise look to the hotpants, starting with a denim-blue fabric topped with a matching jacket with three-quarter length sleeves. The jacket has sparkly detail on the shoulders which is echoed around the hem of the pants, and it is worn open to show the matching bandeau of a bra. A similar outfit consists of a denim-blue leopard skin print, both of them worn with black socks and ankle boots that remain throughout the entire collection.
Another style is in silver lame with a matching bra, and a variation on this shows Miley in the same silver pants but covered up top by a geometric style jacket, sleeveless and with a zippered panel edged with black. With all the hotpants Miley wears a necklace of heavy gold strands and an assortment of bangles.
One of the bodysuits is nude effect but liberally strewn with Swarovski crystals, providing a broad choker at the neck, a bikini-style covering over the torso and further lavish decoration at the wrists and ankles. The other bodysuit alternates shimmering black swirly stripes with nude panels to provide a striking long-sleeved outfit covering the entire body. It has a glittering crystal mandarin collar and the star is seen wearing a jaunty black cap with it.
