A construction worker who got injured in an on-set accident is suing FAO Schwarz , Columbia Pictures, Sony and other defendants for $15 million.
The defendants who are behind ‘The Smurfs’ movie face off with Ryan Rodriguez who filed the lawsuit. Ryan claims that back in May, 2010 he fell off a scaffolding in the FAO premises while undertaking a construction on the movie set. He claims that he was seriously injured. He was quoted as saying that the accident had ‘smurfed’ his life and since then, he is unable to work as he used to.
