Things are not looking up for actress Lindsay Lohan. Reports on the Hollywoodlife.com indicate that the star could face up to eight months in jail for having violated the terms of her probation. In a few hours, her case will be determined in Los Angeles to establish whether she has a case to answer.
Miss Lohan is expected to answer to charges in connection with her role in a car accident back in June. She is accused of giving false information to the police with regards to the said incident. Before this incident, the star had been on probation in connection with a jewelry theft case.
She was given probation on condition that she could face jail time if she was arraigned in court again.
This means that in today’s hearing, the judge will revoke her probation and give a date for her hearing.
It gets worse. The eight months mentioned here do not include possible time she could serve if convicted for the June 8 car accident case. Definitely not good news for the star and fans alike.
She will however not be physically present during the hearing as she is on tour with The Wanted in Dubai and the United Kingdom. She will be represented by her lawyer.

Lohan has made headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent times. Not so long ago, she was arrested for hitting a woman in a nightclub after the two were involved in an argument. Her being on the wrong side of the law quite frequently makes some of her fans feel that she deserves to serve time behind bars.
