Hollywood star Kate Hudson is reported to be making an entry into the fashion world. The star will be designing a capsule collection for the famous Ann Taylor. Kate, who managed to get herself on the best dressed list at this year’s golden globe awards by donning a fabulous gown made by Alexander McQueen, will use this opportunity to showcase her talents as fashion designer.
Kate Hudson, since last year, has been the face of Ann Taylor. Ann made Kate the star of her spring 2012 campaign collection which was well received.
For her upcoming collection Kate worked closely with Lisa Axelson who is Ann Taylor’s creative director. The inspiration behind Kate’s new collection came from her bold red carpet style together with her everyday occasions.
The star is said to be having a lot of fun working with Ann and together they have great chemistry. The stars collection is said to hit stores in May.
