A smoking hot Katy Perry will be gracing the covers of Elle magazine, September 2012 issue. You can grab your copy from 14 August. The captivating “Hot and Cold” singer talked about her views on romance, her career and being an inspiration to young women.
On her singing career:
Katy acknowledges that she cannot be a crooning bird forever. With a hint of philosophy, she says that when she no longer enjoys entertaining, then she will know it is time to find new challenges.
About life as a role model:
She says that integrity and self-respect rule her world. She firmly states that she has no regrets about any of her past actions (Russell Brand, perhaps? Hmmm?). She also says that she only hopes how she lives her life would help others make proper choices. She doesn’t want to force decisions down people’s throats.
On the potential of settling down:
She says that love will take its course. Obviously this will lead to speculation about whether she is dating John Mayer. She refused to say whether she is single or hitched. “Never say never”, she said with finality.
The Elle magazine for September will certainly sell out. Katy does several shots in form-fitting dresses that exploit her queen bee figure. The 27 year old was pictured in necked dresses. The first one that also doubles as the cover photo is a dull pink with a cuffed turtleneck collar. The sequined dress is captured in an amazing side shot. It flows beautifully with the purple streaks in her raven hair. The second picture is edited into a black and white hue. The scaly dress and shiny stiletto heels did her real justice.
Although her edited version of the interview just about touches on her love life, lots more is expected to have been covered. After all, the candy queen always has something up her sleeve.
