Superstar rapper Rick Ross was lucky to escape with his life after he was involved in a car accident in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The accident which took place on Monday morning was the result of a drive by shooting in which Rick’s car was the target. The star was from celebrating his 37th birthday when the incident occurred. In an attempt to flee the gunmen, the Miami based rap star crashed his Rolls Royce in an apartment building.
The star had a female companion with him in the car during the entire ordeal. They both managed to stagger away from the car after the accident.
Police are now investigating the events that occurred during the Monday morning incident. Rick Ross had cancelled events before after receiving death threats from a gang known as the gangster disciples. The beef is apparently over some lyrics in one of the stars hit songs. The police are said to be looking into all possible leads regarding the drive by shooting.
