Scoop NYC is a range of boutiques based in New York City where they offer high fashion styles for both men and women. New York is one of the world’s biggest fashion hubs and Scoop is strategically placed to take full advantage of this. Their fashion is seasonal with constant changes and they specialize in luxury, designer and ready-to-wear designs. The store also known as “The Ultimate Closet” is a one-stop shop to experience the latest fashions. They offer great brands like DVF and Tony Burch among others while they also aim to include young and upcoming designers.
Scoop NYC recently launched their fall/ winter collection featuring models Irina Shayk and Chad White who are photographed by Ali Kavoussi. The gorgeous Irina Shayk, a Russian supermodel wears designs found at Scoop NYC such as Helmut Lang, Philip Lim and Sally Lapointe.
Irina started her career by modeling in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has appeared in numerous annual issues and was the first Russian to appear on the cover of the magazine. She is also officially the brand ambassador for Intimissimi – an Italian lingerie brand label. Despite all her achievements, beauty is obviously Irina’s best and most notable characteristic. At 1.78 metres long and a healthy size 4, she is not like the controversial size 0 models who vie for the spot light.
Her acting career is also budding after staring as Megara in the movie Hercules. Another fact that makes Irina even more delectable and famous is that she is currently dating football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Scoops’ NYC fall/winter collection can be seen on their website in an easy to navigate lookbook. The designs are mainly in shades of black and white and come in versatile materials such as denim, leather and cotton. They styles are innovative, matching dressing gowns with sneakers and woolen jerseys. There is inventive use of layers which takes into account the chillier weather during fall and winter.
Irina wears designs from Aquazurra, Iro, Frame, Orciani and obviously Scoop. One unique look is the pairing of a sheer long sleeved turtleneck top with a tight fitting leather skirt and sexy ankle boots. The look is both distinctive yet casually elegant and can easily transition from day to night. The pairing of classical clothing items with chic trendy sportswear is also a key feature on the fashion spread.
The photographer for the shoot is Ali Kavoussi who has had a passion for photography from his teen tears. Growing up in Miami in the 90’s, he was inspired by the growing fashion culture and famous designers such as Gianni Versace. He launched Irina Shayk’s American career and has represented her ever since and has photographed other models such as Shannan Click and Jessica Hart.
He is also controversially known for having stolen’ Victoria Secret models when he started his own agency – The Lions. Ali’s creative streak is visible in his style of shooting which is both casual yet exudes the sense of elegance found in the clothing.
The grace and sophistication that is the essence of Scoop NYC is clearly evoked in the campaign and their use of a lookbook is an innovative way to showcase these appealing designs. Being appropriately made for chillier weather, the clothes can be worn during other seasons with some modifications to the pairings and accessories. Scoop NYC is definitely out to scoop up’ clients with this collection.
