Naomi Campbell poses as a human statue of the World Cup trophy in celebration of Germany’s victory over Argentina in the FIFA final this past Sunday. Mario Goetze’s final goal ensured that the German soccer team will be bringing home more than just the World Cup. The Naomi Campbell Golden Campaign showcases the one-of-a-kind 24-carat gold-dipped headphones, Beats Pro’s by Dre, which will be going home with each of the 23 members of the winning team, as well as their manager.
The headphones were made in a limited edition of 24, specifically to be gifted to the winning team by Dr. Dre, so there is no chance of getting your hands on a pair of them anytime soon. You can, however, kick back and listen to your music with the same quality as a champion. Even the standard Beats Pro’s by Dre are no cheap peice of plastic. Specifically designed for sound engineers, and people who take their music seriously, this model of noise canacelling headphones features an aluminum gun metal frame, and heavily padded leather earcuffs. World renowned English fashion photogrpaher Rankin was commissioned to shoot the campaign by Dr. Dre.
Despite both having booming respected careers in the fashion industry, it is the first time that Campbell and Rankin have had the opportunity to work together. Campbell describes the experience as a dream come true. Campbell’s earlier campaign this year for her Queen of Gold fragrance makes her a natural choice to model in the World Cup inspired Golden Campaign.
The Naomi Campbelll Golden Campaign was styled by Cathy Kasterine, Harper Bazaar’s fashion director at large. Supermodel Naomi Campbell looks as gorgeous as ever in a sparkling Tom Ford dress and a pair of golden Christian Louboutin peep toe booties. Posed with a golden soccer ball above her head, the Naomi Campbell Golden Campaign brings the World Cup trophy to life.
