The music industry has been once again taken for a spin as three of the biggest stars have come together and released a track called “K-Pop“. First teased by Travis Scott in a Collaboration post with The Weeknd on Instagram through a carousel of posts, this track features themselves as well as the famous Latin trap artist Bad Bunny.
The official art for the track shows a red coloured candy with a grey background. The appearance of the other two artists was first hinted at in the other image included in the same post, showing off what seems to be graffiti saying “K-Pop” and with it says “Travis”, “Abel” and “Benito”.
The names Abel and Benito refer to the real name of The Weeknd and Bad Bunny, which are “Abel” Makkonen Tesfaye and “Benito” Antonio Martínez Ocasio respectively.

Music enthusiasts will know why this track is a big deal. Travis Scott, who is one of the biggest names in hip-hop, The Weeknd, a global superstar and Bad Bunny, the most streamed artist in the world coming together with their own genres is something breathtaking to think about.
Travis Scott’s Upcoming Utopia Album
While it is not officially mentioned anywhere, it is speculated that this track is a part of Travis’s Upcoming Album, called Utopia. Utopia will be Travis’s fourth studio album and will be released at a special launch event kept at the Pyramid Of Giza in Egypt, performed live on July 28, 2023.
Utopia is made in succession to his third studio album, Astroworld, which came out in 2018, hence making it his longest-awaited project yet. The album is highly anticipated by fans, and there are a lot of speculations of features that might appear in the album, including The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Kid Cudi, Young Thug and Kanye West.
The excitement for Utopia guarantees its success and is for sure going to be one of the biggest albums of the year, Scott has described the sound of the awaited album as “psychedelic rock” which has hyped up the fans even more.
After the release of the new track, Scott posted as well as uploaded stories of himself with the other featured artists, with one specific story showing the three of them having a good time celebrating the collaboration.
